Media Coordinator

Purpose of Job:

The Media Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day execution of all client’s media activities and to provide general assistance in the overall planning process.

Key Accountabilities:

  • May participate in media planning strategy meetings with team members and help develop new ideas for client media plans.
  • Set up supplier meetings when needed
  • Creation / Distribution of Media Purchase Authorizations
  • Creation / Distribution of Print media release forms
  • Updating Blocking Charts / Managing Plan Shifts
  • Responsible for Material Extension Requests
  • High Level Costings and Media Estimating
  • Assist in analyzing consumer research using various industry tools
  • Budgeting and Billing (tracking and actualizing Media Investments)

Skills and Behaviour:

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Works well under tight deadlines.
  • High proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A positive and adaptable approach to problem solving

Education and Experience:

  • 0-1 years in media agency or related field would be an asset
  • University Degree or Advanced College diploma, Preferably majoring in business / marketing / advertising
