Working closely with Hyundai, INNOCEAN Canada, the marketing communications agency of record for Hyundai Canada, developed the strategic campaign aimed at supporting how Canadian fans engage with hockey content onPrime Video.
INNOCEAN played a key role in bringing this collaboration tolife, helping Hyundai leverage this unprecedented opportunity to engage with hockey fans nationwide. With a Prime subscription, fans can watch programming on a variety of devices, including smart TVs, tablets, and mobile phones, making hockey more readily accessible than ever before.
The first of these programs, FACEOFF: Inside the NHL, premiered on Prime Video on October 3, 2024. This six-part documentary series offers an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes look at the personal and professional lives of the NHL's top players through the NHL season as they strive to win the most coveted trophy in sports: the Stanley Cup. FACEOFF: Inside the NHL showcases the dedication, sacrifice, and intensity that drives the NHL’s greatest talents, offering hockey fans a unique and intimate viewing experience.
In addition to FACEOFF: Inside the NHL, Hyundai is also investing in full-year video advertising across two exciting live NHL programs that redefine fan engagement. Prime Monday Night Hockey, which debuted on October 14, 2024, provides exclusive access to 26 national Monday NHL matchups directly to Prime Video subscribers. NHL Coast To Coast, a live, weekly whip-around studio show airing Thursday nights in Canada, launched on October 10, 2024, presenting live look-ins to all of the games, key highlights, stories, and behind-the-scenes stories from all of the action on Thursday nights across the league.
