TheHyundai Canada team wanted to activate shopping ads in the digital space, showcasing local and available inventory to interested car buyers. The trouble was — like most car makers — this was not possible without a centralized inventory feed to power the backend required to run e-commerce based shopping ads. This all changed when Hyundai launched Click to Buy, an omnichannel retail platform that unified national dealer inventory and allowed customers to search for and shop available inventory online before visiting a dealer.

HyundaiCanada was committed to showcasing local and available inventory to interested car buyers. The innovative Vehicle Listing Ads were launched in 2024, allowing users to start the digital retail experience as soon as they click on a VehicleAd. The conversion rate increased by 33%, while the cost per conversion decreased by 59%.
