Media Coordinator

Purpose of Job: The Media Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day project management of our media executions, including but not limited to; reporting and analytics, requesting information from suppliers, and working with internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines for launch of campaigns.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Daily monitoring of media campaigns to ensure they are delivering in full and pacing to spend
  • Pulling daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and working with planning team to prepare client reports
  • Proactively seek innovative media opportunities, collect and archive information/vendor presentations
  • Be ready to provide input and sell through ideas relating to media executions
  • Reaching out to suppliers and internal teams to ensure specs, trafficking, and buy requests are aligned
  • Working with buyers to ensure insertion orders are processed correctly and investigating discrepancies
  • Setting up campaign estimates, inputting media buys, and reconciling vendor invoices
  • Be knowledgeable of in-market activity and ready to assist in answering client or internal requests
  • Maintain up-to-date records of media investments, plans, and other relevant documents

  • Great with numbers and spreadsheet management; good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Understand the importance of accountability, professionalism, and integrity in the workplace

Education and Experience:

  • 0-1 years in media agency or related field would be an asset
  • College Degree in Advertising or Data Analytics, is an asset
  • Knowledge of the media industry and how an agency operates is an asset
  • Basic understanding of media performance metrics (CPM, CPA, CPC, GRP) is an asset
  • Familiarity with Prisma/MediaOcean would be an asset
  • Basic understanding and familiarity with Google Marketing Platform (Analytics, Campaign Manager, Ad Words)
