Digital Media Data Planner

Purpose of Job:

The Digital Media Data Planner will be responsible for the day-to-day project management of our digital media executions, including but not limited to; reporting and analytics, data pulls, working in excel spreadsheets, requesting information from suppliers, and working with internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines for launch of campaigns.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Pulling monthly reporting and preparing client reports
  • Management of executing campaigns in Social Platforms
  • Ensuring team members are monitoring campaigns and that they are delivering in full and pacing to spend
  • Building meaningful Digital Media Recommendations supported by data
  • Building Dashboards in Data Studio or Excel
  • Working with suppliers to ensure campaigns go live smoothly
  • Working with digital buyers to ensure insertion orders are processed correctly and investigating discrepancies in data

Skills and Behaviour:

  • Ability to read, and tell stories with data
  • Data Driven
  • Great with numbers and spreadsheet management; good working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Eagerness to learn, high attention to detail, and a willingness to prove themselves
  • A positive and adaptable approach to problem solving; an inquisitive and investigative attitude; not afraid to ask “Why?” or question established processes and procedures
  • Excellent time management, project management, and overall organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and collaborative, with exceptional communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Understand the importance of accountability, professionalism, and integrity in the workplace

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years in media agency or related field would be an asset
  • College Degree in Advertising or Data Analytics, is an asset
  • Knowledge of the media industry and how agency operate is an asset
  • Basic understanding and familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of executing campaigns in Facebook Ads Manager is an asset
