Billing/Paying Coordinator

Purpose of Job:
- Responsible for maintaining relievable and payable transaction and working closely with the Production and Media billing supervisor to obtain accurate revenue.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform day to day A/R and A/P transactions, including but not limited to verifying, matching, entering invoices in QuickBooks.
- Manage billing for various product lines and client accounts.
- Prepare and issue invoices, identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
- Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
- Attempt to collect overdue accounts via email reminders and phone calls.
- Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions through Quickbooks
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
- Reconcile company credit card
- Perform other duties as needed by supervisor
Skills and Behaviour:
- University Degree/College Diploma in Accounting
- Experience in Accounts payable and /or Receivables is considered an asset
- Experience in Quickbooks is considered an asset
- Capable of performing accurate data entry with keen attention to detail
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Professional communication and demeanor
- Ability to work within a team environment
Education and Experience:
- University Degree/College Diploma in Accounting
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is considered an asset
