Teaming Up for the FIFA World Cup
Kia Motors is the official global automotive partner of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. IWCa created a retail campaign for Kia Canada centered on Kia getting into the game with their FIFA World Cup Sales Event.
The spot ‘Teammates’ features soccer stars such as Gilberto Oliveira Souza Jr., Andrew Wiedeman and Chelsea McQuade, teaming up with the Kia Forte, Sportage and Rondo. The vehicles mimic the players’ movements of slaloming through pylons, meeting the ball head on, and kicking it towards the net.
The popular campaign was supported in print, digital, point-of-sale, out of home, and radio.
